Dry Loose Tube Fiber
16 products
Running Fiber from the indoors to the outdoors can be a challenging task for someone constructing their own custom fiber network; this common dilemma is the reason why our Indoor/Outdoor Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable is the preferred choice among fiber engineers who have projects with both indoor and outdoor specifications. The composition of Indoor/Outdoor Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable is better equipped to handle the tensions caused by fluctuating temperature and moisture levels. The water blocking yarn within the fiber will expand, absorbing excess moisture and protecting the fiber cores, while being able to meet national fire code standards; however, because fire ratings differ from state to state, we provide both Plenum and Riser rated options.
Plenum Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable
Plenum Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable is manufactured to have either one to six sub-units, water blocking yarn, an aramid ripcord, and a Plenum rated PVC outer jacket. To further enhance the cable, there is an option to add a central strength member and water blocking tape that is made available for 72 strand fiber. Moreover, each sub-unit consists of 12 colored glass fibers, water absorbent yarn that is encased in a PVC jacket, 3mm in diameter; sub-units can be color-coded or sequentially numbered. All component materials meet the EU RoHS and REACH Directive standards.
Riser Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable
Riser Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable has similar specs in comparison to the Plenum Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable, only Riser Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable has Riser rated materials. Riser Dry Loose Tube Fiber Optic Cable is built to have either one to six sub-units, water blocking yarn, an aramid ripcord, and a Riser rated PVC outer jacket. There is the option to add a central strength member; water blocking tape is also made available for 72 strand fiber. Each sub-unit is comprised of 12 colored glass fibers, water absorbent yarn that is enclosed in a PVC jacket, 3mm in diameter; sub-units have the opportunity to be sequentially numbered or color-coded, pertaining to specific application requirements. All component materials meet the EU RoHS and REACH Directive standards.
OSP Dry Loose Tube Fiber
OSP Fiber, or on-site plant fiber, is designed to withstand the harshest outdoor environments including direct burial applications. This dry loose tube fiber cable is composed of one to six sub-units, water blocking yarn, dielectric strength material, an aramid ripcord, and a PVC outer jacket. Each sub-unit consists of 12 colored glass fibers and water swell-able yarn with a PVC jacket 3mm in diameter. All component materials meet the EU RoHS and REACH Directive standards. With a wide variety of strand counts ranging from 12 to 144 strands, Fiber Savvy can help you find the right OSP Fiber for any application.
